I love coming back and seeing this special return! When I first came here it was through a recommendation from a hotel employee in Marlborough. She specifically mentioned it was a place she recommended to her guest. This was the first item I tried and it opened my eyes. My partner is a chef and very critical about eating out. He couldn't find a thing to complain about!!! The food is fresh, it's always cooked to perfection. The garlic spinach and mashed potatoes make for great sides to this dish! The meat is tender. I love the crab encrusted shrimp in a cream sauce! The shrimp are good sized and tail off really maximizing my flavor to shrimp ratio!

I always get the baked haddock at Welly's Restaurant — it's my go-to every time. It's consistently cooked perfectly: tender, flaky, and super fresh. The seasoning is light and balanced, so you really taste the quality of the fish. It's one of those comforting, classic New England dishes that never disappoints. Honestly, I've tried to order something different before… but I always come back to the baked haddock. Highly recommend!

Great meal. Fish did not overwhelm the rest of the meal. This item is great for when you want a lighter meal that will still fill you up.

I ordered the New England Clam Chowder as part of a large catered meal. Everyone loved and it was the first thing to go. Definitely recommend!
